Law Offices Profile
Dr. Alexander Aghayan & Associates, Inc., was founded
by Dr. Alexander Aghayan (dec. 1963) in 1912. The intellectual property
operations are managed by Robert Martin, a certified public accountant
with more than 20 years experience in all aspects of Iranian patent and
trademark registration and enforcement. Alexander Aghayan, grandson of
the founder, is an independent lawyer in New York, and assists US
institutional clients of the Tehran office as needed. Shahin Aghayan
heads the Paris liaison office. Alexander Aghayan holds a B.A. in
economics from Williams College, and a J.D. from the Harvard Law School.
He is admitted to the NY State Bar (1rst Dept.), the Federal Bar
(Southern District of NY), as well as the District of Columbia Bar(not
current). Dr. Shams Behbahani conducts or oversees litigation in Iran.
Note: Alexander Aghayan's function, as far as Iranian matters are
concerned, is narrowly limited to assisting US institutions in
processing their Tehran IP registrations, as needed. |
